Lesson Plan Synopsis: The lesson analyzes the United States justification for Japanese American Incarceration during the Second World War. Additionally, it looks at the lives of the incarcerated at the camp in Poston, Arizona through primary source materials. The lesson culminates in the students’ analysis of American policy towards and treatment of Japanese Americans during this time period.
