Lesson Plan Synopsis: Students will view the photograph of Rohwer and take an inquiry stance to develop a research topic related to the World War II Japanese American incarceration. Students will develop questions and plan an inquiry. They will evaluate sources and use evidence from sources. Once they have completed their inquiry, students will suggest ways in which they can take informed actions to ensure social justice for all people.
